The Older Wiser Learning Seniors are a vibrant group who meet Tuesdays at noon for 45 minutes of carefully monitored, measured, exercise and again Thursdays at 11:30 AM to expand their minds, socialize, share a meal and learn.  The OWLS share their experiences and gain knowledge while building deep friendships.

Screen Shot 2015-05-12 at 10.49.44 AMKandee Tabor, the leader of the OWLS ministry, had always felt a lifelong desire to minister.  After a career in engineering and construction, she finally found her calling in serving the elderly.  While pursuing a Gerontology certificate from St. John Fisher, she established the OWLS ministry, a way to serve this growing portion of the population.

The OWLS find they have more energy, more friends, and more enriching lives due to their weekly gatherings.  This invigorating group proves that no matter what one’s age, there is always more to learn, more to gain, and more to give.
